Everything is set up properly but no head tracking or stereoscopic

I can see the steam VR window open, it says no headset detected.

 

There is no head movement, or stereoscopic.


I read that maybe it’s because oculus connected before steam VR opened, but quitting the app on Oculus and going back does not change anything, same thing :-(

 

I am starting Steam VR, not steam. Is that correct?

Anything to try?

I have exactly the same problem. I guess VirtualDesktop for now

The other one suggests that it is for Quest 2. I am on the original Quest. I will add this note to the other one as well.
